A joyful Wednesday morning, full of excitement, marked the first-ever WABOL game in the town of la Vila de Piera on October 16. Mixed teams, formed by people eager to play a sport where running is not allowed, but they can walk fast with a ball at their feet, enjoyed the game to the fullest. With a two-touch maximum rule and a focus on having fun without ever getting angry, they moved the ball well in their first WABOL experience and followed the instructions of their coach and founder, Silvio, who was very pleased with their performance.
We have now officially started in the town of Piera, thanks to the excellent organization by the Sports Councilor Yolanda Castellanos and the support of our WABOL representative in the Anoia region, Esteve Olivella.
