On a special day dedicated to work, the Esportiu Marcet complex became the stage for a unique event: the WABOL® Family World Peace Tournament, organized in collaboration with the Pontifical International Marian Academy of the Vatican.
Commemorating the spirit of International Workers Day, more than 60 participants came together to celebrate peace and unity through sport.
In a colorful and joyful atmosphere, four teams were formed, including players of all ages and genders, as well as family members who also joined and played the game.
Each team competed in three vibrant 30-minute matches, where competition mixed with camaraderie and fun.
The outcome of the matches took a back seat, overshadowed by the true essence of the tournament: sharing the excellent sport of WABOL® in an environment of harmony and mutual respect.
At the end of the day, each participant received a participation diploma in recognition of their contribution to the collective experience.
And so, amidst laughter and applause, the World Peace Tournament stood as a living testament to the power of sport to unite people beyond differences and celebrate the universal values of peace, teamwork, and solidarity. It was a different and profoundly enriching morning that will remain etched in the memory of all those present.
